Through the grace of God and under the auspices and the attendance of H.H. Pope Tawadros II, we are excited to announce the 2nd Land of Immigration Seminar.
The seminar will be held October 3 – October 5, 2018 by the Diocese of New York & New England. All attendees are encouraged to arrive in advance of the seminar; check-in will be available at 3 pm on October 2nd. We are thankful to God for continuously spreading Coptic Orthodoxy throughout the land of immigration. With this blessed growth comes the necessity of strategizing and formulating policies to ensure the unification of the Coptic Churches of the Diaspora. The topic of the seminar will be Theological Education in Land of Immigration.
Please assign five delegates to join your grace in attendance. These delegates should have an educational or professional background in the fields of education or religious studies. The five delegates should be of the following demographics:
1. Elder Priest: at least 20 years of service
2. Recent Priest: at most 10 years of service
3. Elder: ahead of service living in the land of immigration for at least 30 years
4. Male Youth: raised in the land of immigration
5. Female Youth: raised in the land of immigration

The seminar will consist of four lectures and workshops; each of the regions will have an opportunity to contribute and will receive assignments at a later date.
